This Guys Whizzen

Nimbus is a palomino gelding we’ve owned since he was a weanling. He’s grown up here and has been used around the ranch, he is just never one that’s had consistent, steady miles as he's always been on the backburner. The good: he’s been used to doctor, sort, gather, brand, and pack. He’s got the bone and size to handle a full day’s work and knows what a real ranch job look like. If you need one you can saddle and pound some rocks, he's ready to roll. The bad: every now and then he will hump up in the mornings. It might happen a couple mornings in a row and then you won’t see it again for a long stretch of time. He’s not mean about it, just fresh. If you can ride, you can sit through his little fits. With consistent work, I would guess this habit would fade, but he hasn’t had enough consistency here to know for sure. My husband really likes this horse, I just want him to put his time and energy into some younger prospects. If you’re looking for a good-sized gelding you can put to work and don’t mind one that might test you once in a while, Nimbus is ready to go down the road.
