Description
โ€œFredโ€ is 4 year old sorrel AQHA gelding measuring 14.3hh Sired by ~ ๐‘ต๐’ ๐‘บ๐’„๐’๐’•๐’„๐’‰ ๐‘ป๐’Š๐’Ž๐’† ~ LTE $19,000 in multiple events including NRCHA, heading, heeling and barrel racing. Out of ๐‘บ๐’‰๐’†๐’›๐’‚ ๐‘บ๐’๐’‚๐’‘๐’‘๐’Š๐’ ๐‘ช๐’‚๐’•, daughter of ๐‘ช๐’‚๐’• ๐‘ฐ๐’„๐’‰๐’Š (LTE $306,191 NCHA and PE $6.6 million) Fred is a flashy and balanced mover with a big trot and natural self carriage that is sure to get you noticed in the ranch riding, ranch trail and working rail classes. He has been shown in local Versatility Ranch Horse shows for the past 2 years, and always keeps a level head in a new arena. He is not spooky and always scores well in the ranch riding and trail classes. Fred also has lots of outside miles, and has been used in every aspect of ranch work, including gathering pastures, branding, and sorting. He has also been lightly started roping out of the box, and is a natural at rating and stays calm in the box. Fred is typically more whoa than go, and would be perfect for an amateur that is looking for their next prospect for the ranch events or VRH. He is a personable horse that enjoys attention, is easy to haul, great for the farrier, and gets along with other horses. He has a typical playful gelding personality and is usually middle of the pack. We have owned Fred since he was a weanling and started him slowly as a 2 year old while still exposing him to as much as possible. He did require surgery his 3 year old year to remove an OCD lesion in his right hock, and has since made a full recovery and is now 100% sound. We are happy to provide all X-rays and vet records. PPE also welcome at buyers expense. Fully enrolled in the Ranching Heritage program and eligible for the NILE futurity classes
