LB TUESDAY SLEW

Gentleman has been my go-to, whether it's branding, preconditioning, doctoring calves outside, going for a trail ride or loping circles in the arena. He has done it all and has been used extensively outside on the ranch and is equally fun to ride in the arena. He's the one I catch if I need something reliable and does not get troubled or tight with time off or bad weather. He carries a unique pedigree going back to Seattle Slew and Seattle Sleet, Gentleman is out of a full thoroughbred mare and by a QH stud. Standing a true 15.3, he has plenty of size to get any job done but still has the athleticism and smooth gaits of a smaller horse. If his height scares you off-don't worry because he is happy to step up to a fence, block, or tree stump to help you get on. He lowers his head to bridle and is very good about his feet. I shoe my own and he is my favorite because he doesn't lean on me and holds his own weight. I have ridden him in a neck rope, snaffle, hackamore, and half breed bride bit. It doesn't matter what you have on his head because he feels of your seat. I can change leads on him with a little bit of impulsion, he needs more polishing on that but always takes his leads easy if you set him up. Solid stop, and a backup just off my legs. He has a lot of life and for someone who wants a horse that is safe but has a motor, he would be just right. Gentleman doesn't care about tarps, flags, ropes or cats and dogs underfoot.
