JK Klondike Gold

JK Klondikes Gold is truly worth his weight in gold. This gelding is as willing and kind as they come. He never causes trouble in any way from riding, on the ground, or in the herd. This gelding comes with a lot of feel to your seat and legs and a lot of eye on a cow. He truly has the potential to go any direction or all directions and make a family horse while doing it! This guy comes from a reputable breeding program that I’ve worked with for many years and this gelding is even extra exceptional in being an all around gentle safe gelding. Klondike has been used to work and sort cattle, rope yearlings, halterbreak young horses, gather horses. He’s led pack horses in open Montana desert along with brushy willow and cottonwood creek bottoms with big live water and taken it all in stride. He doesn’t seem to get worked about much of anything. Although I wouldn’t call him a kids horse quiet yet he’s well on his way and depends on where your kids are at in their riding career. This horse has a good all around size with his breeding and could make a great rope horse. We’ve sent some of his siblings to the barrel pen and breakaway pen as well. He will rate and track cattle nicely would really prefer to cut them but will put you where you need easily to rope them as well, he’s got a good set of wheels and a good woah. Klondike has a level head but a good fast walk or an extra smooth trot, he would excel as a trail horse as well and would enjoy that just as much as anything. Quality young gelding that has a lot to offer and give for many years to come!
