✨Fantastic All-Around or Ranch Riding Prospect✨ Raisin is a cute, grey, 3yr old filly. She has a solid start, and is very versatile. She’s a nice mover, has a correct turn around, is confident over trail obstacles, is learning nice transitions, understands your legs and is softening nicely in the bridle. She straight ties, cross ties, is great to bathe, loads and backs out of the trailer, and has no vices. We’ve been gearing her towards the ranch riding and she could easily go show in that this year, but she truly has the ability to go in any direction you’d wish to take her. She’s also started on the flag and has tracked a cow about a dozen times, she is very COWY. She would EXCELL in the ranch versatility, make a bang up sorting horse, or could even go on to make a nice little breakaway horse. We live on 25 acres where she’s been rode outside the arena and exposed to a variety of livestock. She regularly sees sheep, goats, dogs, and the occasional pot belly pig. She has also recently hauled out on her first long trail ride. She rode right off the trailer and was excellent the whole ride. She dropped her nose to the ground and picked her way through the rocks like a pro, very careful with her feet. She has lived inside and outside, is not marish, and gets along well with others in a herd setting. She is not for beginners, and can be a handful some days. She is not an outlaw by any means, just a typical 3yr old that requires someone handy that will keep her in a consistent program and knows how to channel her energy into something productive. She also has a nice set of old school cowhorse papers, making her a nice outcross as a future broodmare. She is sound, UTD, and wears front shoes.
