Kidd is a finished true all around gelding. Be sure to watch his full video! He has been hauled and won money in barrels, is a wicked pole horse with minimal exposure, and is ready to haul break away and heel as well. Kidd has been hauled to see the sites since he was just a 2 year old. He has been a million miles to lots of different arenas, ranches, and rodeos. I bred and raised this phenomenal young gelding in the hopes of forcing myself to learn to rope, since then I had a baby who is now a 4 year old and my roping dreams have been put on hold. Quite frankly, I just don’t have the desire to haul anymore and if I am going to ride, it’s the colts that actually need the time that are first on the trailer. That being said, Kidd has been set up since day one to be amazing! This sweet guy has the best demeanor and is always safe even with time off. Kidd has a huge heart and truly wants to please no matter what the task is at hand. He has been day worked on and worked feedlots as well so he isn’t just an arena horse. He will go anywhere you point him with no hesitation. Water, roads, through town, bridges, steep mountain sides, you name it. Kidd is safe for anyone that knows how to ride and would be a PERFECT all around youth horse. He is CURRENTLY being hauled and ran by a 13 year old on barrels and poles. They are already hitting 2D/3D open times in tough Texas competition. Kidd stands 15.0 hands and is built like one should be. Both his sire and dam (who is a lifer here) are solid built and made to last. Kidd is incredibly cowy, probably the most cowy horse I have ever sat on and LOVES to work. He was turning back cows on his own at just a year old (I have videos). He has been sorted on and is an absolute blast!! He has never been injured, doesn’t require any maintenance, and has never been sick. If “healthy as a horse” was ever a true statement, it would apply to this horse. Kidd does well stalled or out in the pasture. He is easy to catch and has a great personality!! I absolutely love this horse but he deserves to go do big things for someone and be someone’s heart horse. The last horse I posted of his caliber sold within 12 hours so if you’re looking for a young, broke, and SAFE horse to take you to the pay window in any chosen event, this is your guy!! Kidd is utd on absolutely everything and requires no special maintenance. He is an incredibly easy keeper and just a pleasure to own. Come try him!!!
