A son of Roan Hickory Boon (by Once In A Blue Boon), he is bred the right way for the job. We started him from the ground up! Hickory is roping out of the box smooth and correctly. He is alert and athletic, while staying soft in the mouth. We've also used him in the mountains a few times, and he willingly crosses water.
