The buckskin stud colt pictured is the 2025 full sibling who has shown to be very agile and quick footed despite his bone and size. He’s got the biggest personality in the herd, plus the motor and energy to back it up. He’s got the kind of natural feel and sensitivity that will make a bridle horse in time. His dam was also a using horse before joining the broodmare band. Mouse is a 14.3 hand buckskin roan draft cross with extensive miles in the mountains and on the ranch. She impressed us with her natural gentleness for all riders while having the gumption to travel some serious country when she was asked to. While Mouse is clearly an easy keeper, she’s also a buckskin roan whose coat ranges from golden to sooty buckskin depending on the year. The color combinations between her and Soggy are nearly endless. Soggy Bottom almost needs no introduction as one of the stunning herd sires of 35 Select Stock. He is a 15 hand black Drum Horse stallion registered with the IDHA and GHRA. Since before he was broke to ride, he showed lots of intelligence and try. He is the kind of stud who will leave his broodmare herd to come hang out with people. His super smooth, rocking horse lope and stunning good looks are an added bonus to his phenomenal mind. Judging by the full sibling, this 2026 foal should mature between 15-16 hands and be rather stout built. Mouse’s babies are flashy movers with big strides. They will be the kind of draft cross that’s quick enough to go do a job or carry you safely across all kinds of terrain. This foal will also be registrable as a half Drum Horse through the IDHA.
