Sam is the first one to meet you at the gate and is always easy to catch, handle, and be around. He has a friendly, willing personality and truly wants to please his rider. He is up to date on vaccines, deworming, farrier care, and dental work. His owner purchased him from Texas three years ago, and since then he has received extensive training and refinement. Sam responds well to leg cues and understands shoulder, hip, and ribcage control. He side-passes, opens gates, and is soft and responsive both left and right. He is currently continuing to develop better collection and balance under saddle. Sam is an amazing gelding with a great mind and a strong desire to do the right thing. He would do best with a confident rider who can continue riding and developing him consistently. This is a difficult sale due solely to life changes and the owner's inability to dedicate enough time to multiple horses.
