Dual Rey Santo

“Santo” is a 10 year old AQHA gelding. He’s been used to guide dude rides, used as a lesson horse for more advanced students, and is the classic back burner horse that has a good foundation with lots of life experience but needs to be finished. He is being sold because his owner is down sizing due to a growing family. Santo can have a bit of an attitude if he has too much time off and enjoys having a job and an occasional change of scenery. No buck or rear, he’ll just have his own opinions on what should be done. He’s forward in the mountains and has been on overnight trips. He’s athletic and can be too smart for his own good and is not the kind of horse you can hammer on. We’ve had him on cows a couple of times and he is pretty cowy and likes the game. I would not label him a beginner horse, but he’d do well as a youth step up horse. It wouldn’t take much to finish him out and haul him. He could also make a good breakaway or pole prospect as he’s catty and has some go. Santo is the first horse to greet you in the pasture and is generally interested in doing whatever you’re doing. Make an offer, would like to get him moved.
