Reno

Reno is a quiet gentle gelding that is probably best suited as trail horse. We have owned him for 6 years. He has largely been a spare horse for us for most of that time. Has drug calves at branding and used to move cows. He just doesn’t really have much for cow sense, but will go where you point him. Reno can be tricky to catch in a large area. Once caught, he is good to saddle, trim hooves and be around. Loads right up into the trailer. He gets along in a herd as well. Is an easy keeper still at 17 years old. He can get into a nice slow trot that is comfortable. At times he can get a little amped up and likes to go, but is totally controllable. Would not recommend for a total beginner or a smaller kid, just due to his size and strength. He is for sale, simply because he is not really being used at our place very often and someone else should enjoy him. Thank you
