Mac

Mac is 12.2 hands of superpuncher style! He looks and rides like dad’s ranch horse and is just as cool, only better- because he’s small! He’s right in his prime at 12 years old and was started under saddle by a 12 year old girl who did a phenomenal job on him. He neck reins, stops off your seat, has enough motor to be enjoyable by an experienced rider, but is still safe enough to learn on. He rides great in town, on the trails, at the playdays, and through obstacles. Mac is confident and doesn’t bobble at anything the kids throw at him. He climbs stairs and steep embankments like a mountain goat. It’s hilarious! There’s no hesitation, no slow “let’s think about this for a minute”, he just goes right on up. Mac is very sure footed and does not trip or slip on rough terrain. He does all the play day patterns, carries the flag, and has tracked the roping sled. He’s a jack of all trades that is ready to raise some more kids and is safe from the youngest to the oldest! I would consider him safe for anybody who has the basics down. He’s so much like a mini ranch horse that he has the quick paced ranch walk and will trot and lope when asked. My 4 year old rode him a bunch around our place but had to remember not to kick and smooch at him like she does on her babysitter pony, unless she wanted him to trot. With that being said, he is easy to shut down and would be just fine for a tiny kid that’s ready to step up from a dead head or is going to have some adult help. Mac lives quietly in a mixed herd and is nice to other horses. He’s barefoot and stays fat on air.
