Abbotts Hosea Cuervo

Meet Abbotts Hosea Cuervo, “Kevin,” a finished heel horse. He’s been heeled on from the 10s down. Calm and flat-footed in the box but sure knows his job and leaves the box strong. He heads, runs barrels, breakaways, carries flags, and even been used to hunt hogs down south. Aside from all that, Kevin is enjoyable to ride solo out on the ranch. This gelding climbs anything with ease and feels solid underneath you. He’s calculated in his steps but doesn’t waste time either. Too much for a beginner rider in a working setting but just perfect for a beginner roper on up. He adjusts to his rider so would be perfectly fine to plod along to let the kids play around but much prefers running a cow down. In my opinion, he would make an excellent high school rodeo mount. He’s competitive but sane enough to take care of your family. Kevin is 17 this year, but you wouldn’t know if it weren’t for the birthdate on his papers. He’s made from those old school bloodlines that are meant to last forever. Thicker than he is tall, truly a bulldog type. Take him home, leg him up, and go win money on him!
