Willie is your all around good citizen and barn favorite. Standing at 15.1 and only 9 years old. He has been a part of our ranch operation for several years and the decision to sell did not come easily. If you’re looking for a solid ranch horse he’s your guy. If you’re looking for a solid trail horse and want to get noticed everywhere you go he is the handsome steed to take you anywhere. He’s the first to greet you at the barn, loves being groomed and knows that a saddle means business. This handy gelding has been used extensively for roping in the pasture and the pen, sorting cattle, doctoring cattle, opening/closing gates or anything thing else ranch related he’s a great hand. In the roping pen, Willie is quiet in the box, rates cattle well and has the speed. He has been in many local team penning events and brought home the money. He has been showed in the ranch horse competition as well. Talk about an attention grabber on a trail ride, this boy has it all. 15.1 hands of handsome and grace. He gets along well with dogs, wagons, mules, parades, and all the crazy things that just come out of nowhere when riding around town or in the mountains. Willie has even been to 2 Chuckwagon races in Arkansas and took in all the craziness with no problem. He goes through water, crosses bridges, steps over logs and is sure footed in rough terrain. This guy is a pleasure to camp and trail ride with. Willie stands quietly tied, is respectful of a hot wire fence, loads/backs out of the trailer with ease and gives no issue with the farrier.
