Beautiful, Buckskin and Broke! What more could you want? Well Rockstar has it all! He is the total package from showing in the ranch riding, working a cow, trail riding, or getting a job done on the ranch. At just 5 years old Rockstar had been seasoned in a lot of different avenues making him perfect for the family setting. He was shown in the ranch riding by a youth girl. He loves attention from the kids and will stick he’s head over the gate every time you walk by looking for some scratches. We have really enjoyed having Rockstar in our program. He got his name because he is always there for you when you need him. It doesn’t matter if he’s been sitting for a while, just grab him out brush of the dirt, saddle up and go! Rockstar is my first pick when I need to go gather the cattle up for a roping! Not because he’s the perfect height at 14.2h to fit under all the tree branches in the thickest of spots to push the cows out, but also because he has a ton of natural cow sense. He knows how to read one and enjoys doing it with his ears perked up. We have also roped on him in the pasture, he opens and closes gates with ease, is great to sort on in the alley, and is good with the sorting flag loading up trucks. Rockstar is a saint out on the trails as well. He crosses water, bridges, downfall with ease. He’s traffic safe and doesn’t get spooked by wildlife. Rockstar rides in rough terrain, steep country and does it all safely with confidence. Take him out with a group of friends or go enjoy some time just the two of you he doesn’t mind either way. He’s a true partner and is solid in every way. In the arena Rockstar is a blast to ride! He lopes out from a walk picking up both leads with ease. Has a nice spin, big stop, smooth transitions and easy lead changes. He side passes both ways, rides on a loose rein and is smooth in all gaits. Rockstar has a cute little jog and nice extended trot making him eye appealing and stylish. Rockstar is use to all the commotion of the kids running around, dogs and daily ranch life. This is an outstanding young gelding that is athletic, genuine and can continue in so many different directions.
