Skippers Sugar Bar 2022 AQHA bay roan mare standing 14.3 hands tall. We call her Classy around here. Classy is the kind you just love to have around because she serves every purpose there is. She a go to using horse for my husband on the ranch, she’s reliable and safe enough for our 9 year old to ride and use alongside him, she’s gentle enough to jump on for an evening trail ride through the woods and she’s safe enough that I trust her to allow guests to ride. She’s an all in one! Classy is easy to catch and well mannered to handle and care for. She has a sweet disposition and enjoys attention, but is not pushy or rude. Classy has countless miles on the ranch and working the cow sale logged under her belt. She has loads of real world experience and therefore has a great mind and a willing work ethic. She has seen all aspects of ranch work, opens and closes gates with ease, will run to one to rope in the pasture to rope and pulls good from the horn. Her ranch and roping experience make her an ideal prospect to head to the roping pen with. She’s stout enough to make a head horse, but could work on the heel side or to breakaway calves on also. The options that a good mare with this kind of foundation offers are endless. Classy is sound and an easy keeper. We do keep her shod being that she is in our using string and she encounters all kinds of terrain throughout the week. She is good for the farrier. Classy is not one that you have to ride daily, she stays gentle and has never offered to buck. She is not spooky or watchy in any way. In terms of a horse that offers a full package, Classy checks the entire list! We are happy to answers any questions you have and can assist with arranging hauling.
