Pepe

If you’re looking for something with tons of heart and try that will go all day, Pepe San Badger is your guy! He’ll cross water, climb hills, jump logs, whatever you ask. Just swing up on him bareback and ride him in a halter. He has a can-do, aim to please attitude! He’s a GRADE, 5 year old gelding and stands 13.3 hands but stout as they come and wide as he is tall. Don’t let his size fool you! He rides out alone and carries my husband all over the ranch. He’s been used in the sale barns. He knows how to work a gate and enjoys a job. My husband roped and dragged a calf on him a few weeks ago with no issues. Pepe is level-headed and wants to be friendly but had a cowboy start, so he’s not the “in your pocket” type just yet and could use some softening. He’s got all the potential in the world to be someone’s go-to gelding! He’s been left out of work for a week at a time and never pitched a fit or acted fresh when we pulled him off pasture. He has bucked once since we’ve owned him, which we think had something to do with getting stung but can’t honestly say for sure. He hasn’t made a wrong move since!
