Tang

Meet Tang! Tang is a striking 3 year old red dun mustang out of the highly sought after palomino butte herd in Oregon. An HMA with draft influence known for producing nice horses. He has strong straight legs good feet and a balanced build, this is the type of horse that lasts a lifetime. In his three year old year he has experienced being in a pack string, carrying a light load through the mountains. Being hobbled, tied, and handled in the mountains and in strings with other horses, he has handled new and challenging situations confidently. As a saddle horse he will lead out with a great pace and bravely cross every obstacle: bridges, rivers, bogs, mud, and rocky terrain do not phase him. He has shared trails with mountain bikes, hikers, and dogs on local urban trails. He typically rides with a loose rein leading the way on trail rides. Tang also rides in an arena, knows his leads, stops, backs up, and is pleasure to ride. Tang a once a lifetime horse with a laid back personality, he stands for the farrier, behaves at the vet and loads right up for adventures. Tang has had the opportunity to sit and pick work back up multiple times, and does so willingly with excellent recall and no funny business. He has the potential to be an incredible family horse. Because he is young and green by nature, he is recommended for a confident rider. Come meet him and fall in love with this great guy!
