Moby

Moby is a 6-year-old Percheron cross gelding standing 17.2 hands high. Moby is a husband horse deluxe! Big enough for absolutely any rider, and gentle enough to trust with little ones and beginners. He has presence, a quiet mind, and a gentle nature that everyone who meets him enjoys. He is the Jeep Wrangler of horses. He bravely steps over anything you point him at, crosses any terrain, loves to swim, and is safe with heavy traffic and machinery. We have used him on the ranch, roped off his back, and let friends and guests tag along on him while we rope and doctor calves. Moby is a lovable and fun horse to have around that everyone, of any size, can safely enjoy. On the trails, Moby is steady and sure-footed. We all get a laugh riding him because you can ask him to step up on rocks, benches, or walls, and he just climbs up like it’s a circus trick. He is brave, sure of himself, and goes wherever you ask him to go. He will ride alone or in a group and is confident in leading or following. He’s great off property, trailers well, and stands tied to the trailer. He hops right into water, crosses bridges, and carries you right through deep mud, steep hills, and anywhere else you can dream up. He would make a great camp, dude ranch, or guest horse, too! He’s great off property, ties to the trailer, and is super comfortable bareback! In the barn, Moby is a gentle giant. He is very aware of his size and is a gentleman who picks up his feet and works around. He stands quietly to be groomed and tacked and loves attention. He stands tied, is a good boy in his stall, and has no bad habits. He is a lovable big guy who enjoys having people around. In the arena, Moby is happy to go around and do what’s asked of him. He is big, but he is very comfortable. He has easy steering, great brakes, and will plop around with any level rider. Moby is an easy keeper who is a pleasure to have around.
