Spade

Spade is a Percheron x Friesan gelding that we’ve owned since a two year old. We have done just about everything we’ve had the chance to on this horse. He’s been the go to branding horse the last 6years whether it be a snag or head and heel branding. He also been my go to halter breaking horse when it comes to training babies or the wild ones, from gentling to roping feet. We’ve even shagged a few bulls on him, and hauled him to some rodeos. He’s not a deadhead outside and wants to work. Inside about anyone could get along with him as he mellows way down. He’s seen lots of brush, live water, steep rocky terrain etc. Although he has done everything on the ranch he’d make a great mountain and trail horse as well. Recommended for a confident rider as he is big and strong.
