EMBER

Ember is a 5-year-old grade Quarter Horse mare with a strong work ethic, solid foundation, and a willing attitude. She is ready to excel as a trail partner or ranch horse. This mare is gentle, kind, people-oriented, easy to catch, loves attention, curious, and responsive. She was started at two and packed in the Bob, crossing bridges, going under waterfalls, and navigating different trail terrain. She was hobble trained and packed an elk antler on the back of the saddle. She was then ridden at 4 for about 30 rides until this spring. She has spent 90 days training under Yellowstone Performance Horses and has been used on the ranch. She has a solid groundwork foundation getting desensitized to flags, tarps, and plastic bags. In the arena she knows her leads and is getting soft in the bridle. She has been used to rope cattle, drag calves to the fire in a cleanup branding, lead dude strings, rope the dummy, and sort cattle. She is pretty athletic and a very cowy mare that will go all day long, never running out of stamina. She loads into the trailer easily and has been hauled with horses and by herself. This mare would perform best with a confident rider as she has an abundance of energy and go but does not have a mean bone in her body. She is fully vaccinated, shod, dewormed, and had a dental done this spring before training with no maintenance required. We are selling due to no fault of her own. We moved and can no longer afford to have her.
