MAGIC

Here’s one the entire family can enjoy! Magic is a 12 year old, 16.3 hand, flea bitten grey gelding. Magic is a Percheron x Quarter Horse cross- making him the perfect balance of a heavy work horse while being light enough to still be athletic! He’s done a little bit of everything, has all the bells and whistles, and has always given 100% effort and taken everything in stride. Magic’s dayworked with the county catching loose livestock and is a finished head horse, although it has been a few years since he was last roped on in the arena. He does all aspects of ranch work including working gates and loading trucks. He has been ridden English and gone over small jumps. He collects up into the bridle whether you’re riding with contact or one handed with lighter pressure. He has been ridden solo by kids ages 4-12 years old as shown in his photos and videos. Magic has been used in a lesson and therapy program where he excelled at giving his riders confidence. He’s been in rodeo grand entries, to the chuck wagon races, parades, and seen all the sights in his lifetime! He will w/t/l both directions and pick up the correct lead each way. Magic does side pass and has a good stop for a big horse. He’s a confident mount that has a ton to offer from the youngest in the family to the oldest, or even if you need a proven husband horse with size. He’s never spooky and is also kind on the ground. Magic fills the roles of multiple horses in one pretty package. He has the cutest little polka dotted “flea bites” and has a couple of random patches of color, and spots where pigment shows through depending on the light- making him a unique looking grey. We can’t say enough good things about him. Magic has lived in a stall or herd comfortably. He’s an easy keeper that currently requires no maintenance or special care. He’s also barefoot and wears his hooves down naturally very well. Magic is located in Wills Point, Texas and is available for trial rides, video calls, and PPEs.
