RASCAL

Little Rascal aka Rascal Rascal would love having someone of his own to build a relationship with and enjoy adventures together. Rascal would make a fantastic trail or endurance horse. He has plenty of trail experience and has even ponied other horses out on the trail. He has also been off-property to go swimming, so he has experience getting out and experiencing new things. He rides both English and Western and would love a home where he can have a job and a person to call his own. About Rascal: • Estimated 7–10 years old • 13.3 hands — stocky, sturdy build • DNA tested as a Draft/Hanoverian cross • Rides English or Western • Excellent trail experience • Has ponied other horses on the trail • Has been off-property to go swimming • Great potential as a trail or endurance horse • Would also make a great walk/trot barrel and pole bending horse for a kid. • Primarily walk/trot due to arthritis. Has never gone lame or taken an off step because of his arthritis. • Low man in the field and very easygoing with herd dynamics • Can live with anyone! He has lived with mares, geldings, minis, and even mini foals Rascal does have arthritis, so he is primarily a walk/trot horse. I do occasionally canter him, but I do not push the canter because of his arthritis. He has never taken an off step because of his arthritis, and I personally believe it is something he has likely had for most, if not all, of his life and has simply learned to live with. I have also put Rascal on Adequan, although that was my personal preference to help support his comfort and joint care. More than anything, I want to find Rascal a loving home where he can be someone’s horse rather than continuing in a lesson program.
