Jigsaw

Jigsaw is a 5 year old 15 hand APHA gelding that has been used on the ranch, packed out elk, spent many miles on trails, doctored a few cattle, been used to sort and has packed beginners around the arena. He was leased out to a gal for a year who loved him and had nothing but good things to say about him. She took him on the pony express, trail rode, hauled him to reining and cow horse clinics, had him in the Cheyenne frontier days parade, jumped him, ran barrels on him (he’s not a speed demon but clocked times to compete in the 5d.) He’s a laid back guy that is easy to catch, good to shoe and is just easy to be around. He has a rocking chair lope that is just as easy to ride bareback as it is to ride with a saddle and has a nice slow jog or a nice working trot if you ask him to move out. There’s not many horses you can ride in a big open pasture bareback with a just neck rein! Although he’s gentle he can put in a full day gathering up in the mountains long trotting and navigating deadfall, steep hills and won’t lose his footing or quit you. He had a gorgeous thick tail but it was chewed off and is still thick but sits right at his hock currently. It will grow back in no time! He’s the definition of jack of all trades master of none (yet.) He is ready to go any direction you want to take him. He’s fun because he can be quick footed if you ask but can also just lope around quietly as well. He would fit a lot of different riders and would do great with a beginner under supervision of a trainer.
